The United Nations Association (UNA) chapter at USC, is requesting your support in helping our student delegation attend the 2025 UNA-USA Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. this June. This annual summit brings together student leaders, advocates, and changemakers from across the country to engage with high-level UN officials, U.S. policymakers, and global activists on today’s most pressing international issues.

In April 2025, a few members of our chapter had the privilege of attending the United Nations ECOSOC Youth Forum in New York—a transformative experience that we fully self-funded. This forum empowered us to engage in meaningful dialogue about sustainable development and youth-led global change. It was not only inspiring but deeply reaffirming our commitment to international cooperation and civic engagement in international relations.

Now, we seek your support to continue this momentum.
Attending the UNA-USA Leadership Summit would provide our chapter with invaluable benefits:

  • Policy Engagement: We will have the opportunity to speak directly with members of Congress, advocating for global cooperation and U.S. leadership in the UN Nationals.
  • Leadership Development: The summit includes specialized training sessions that would equip us with tools to strengthen our impact on campus and in the community.
  • Networking & Representation: We will represent USC on a national platform, building networks with student leaders and UN advocates from across the country.
  • Campus Impact: The knowledge and skills we gain will be directly applied to our chapter’s programming, events, and outreach initiatives next semester—including SDG awareness campaigns, civic engagement drives, and collaboration with local nonprofits and other local chapters.
Our mission is to empower students to become globally-minded leaders who are not only informed but equipped to take meaningful action. To truly grow and create a lasting difference, it is critical that we participate in events like these that connect our passion with purpose, learning with action.

We would be incredibly grateful for any financial support the university could provide to help cover travel and registration expenses. Your investment in us is an investment in the next generation of global advocates.

Thank you so much for considering our request.
