We are NextGen Nephrology, a team of students from Palos Verdes High School committed to advancing research for kidney disease. After learning about the widespread impact of this condition and the urgent need for greater research funding, we felt compelled to take action.

The 1‑in‑7 Campaign was created to raise awareness and support scientists working toward improved treatments and earlier detection. Our goal is not only to help accelerate lifesaving research, but also to educate our community about the profound effect kidney disease has on millions of individuals and families.
