Support Dr. Evanthia Roussos Torres’ Breast Cancer Research

Image
Dr. Evanthia Roussos Torres, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cancer Biology at the University of Southern California where she leads her own lab and has built a translational research program whereby she works collaboratively with other physicians and physician scientists studying immune-oncology.

Her specific interest is in breast cancer and the tumor immune suppressive microenvironment. Cancer spreads by suppressing the immune system. Dr. Roussos Torres is a trailblazer in integrated and comprehensive analyses of the different immune suppressor cell types using different research modalities such as traditional immunology, math modeling and use of patient samples to discover how suppressor immune cells affect breast cancer incidence, treatment, and outcomes.

Dr. Roussos Torres is honored to be selected as the 2025 B-SEARCH beneficiary. Your support today will advance the collection of data that Dr. Roussos Torres requires to support a major study into the relationships between immune suppression and breast cancer progression—leading to vastly improved personalized treatments for our community and around the world.

Give today to combat aggressive breast cancer and save lives.
