USC Dworak-Peck School of Social Work
Preparing highly skilled, enthusiastic and compassionate social workers to confront the most complex problems affecting individuals and communities is what the USC Dworak-Peck School of Social Work is known for.
The past year has brought many changes at home and abroad, yet the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work remains focused on how we can shape the future of social work. We demonstrate what is possible, increase our impact and make transformative progress. Our strong connection to communities allows us to envision the world as we believe it should be.
Social workers help society address the greatest challenges of our time and influence how the generations will respond to the challenges of the future. Recent changes in federal policy are creating many questions for the social work profession. I believe it is essential that we operate from a place of knowledge and experience — not from a place of fear — during this time. Our school is deeply rooted in comprehensive community-based research and practice and equipped to find solutions for complex problems in society and expand the reach of social work.
Supporting our community-based practice and research ensures our ability to make a greater impact on the daily lives of underserved individuals and families. Our work at the direct community level is transformative, and your gift will help us continue and expand these efforts.
